Borno state elders and citizens under the aegis of Borno Elders Forum, led by Alhaji Gaji Galtimari, a retired ambassador, have demanded that former President Goodluck Jonathan should arrested and sent to Prison for not working hard to destroy Boko Haram.
The group that folded their hands while their houses were on fire, went on to accuse the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan of deliberately allowing Boko Haram to massacre the people of North East Nigeria.
Nigerians will not forget easily the role that the Northern religious, Political and Traditional leaders played in escalating or helping the Islamist terror group, Boko Haram to gain ground.
Every effort of the former President Jonathan was sabotaged, as they were seeing Boko Haram as their own freedom fighters and means to blackmail Jonathan's administration.
They kicked against the military who where striving day and night, under rain and sun to drastically wipe out the terrorists and they demanded that our military should stop killing Boko haram members.
These same elders were behind some of the negative publicity against our Troops, the reason the US and major powers refused to sale arms to Nigeria because of unsubtantiatable allegations of human right abuses.
Today, the US and European countries have refused to sale arms to Buhari's government because, of the false allegations Northern elders and Politicians planted to discredit President Jonathan's administration.
